summer!

ah so I haven't been on my blog in months! Not much has gone on in my life since my last post but I am going to try and keep this updated from now on. I am living at Purdue this summer and taking 9 credit hours of summer school this summer. I am also working at Scottys Brewhouse. I absolutely love my job, my apartment and my roommate/best friend kate goodwin :) I am already having the best summer ever and it has barely started! I start school next Tuesday but I only go to school tuesdays and thursdays so that is good! The only thing that has sucked about this summer so far is the weather. There has not been one beautiful day yet. It has been just a bunch of rain and chilliness. I don't like that! But hopefully that will change soon and we will get some good layout weather. I need to get my tan on. Next weekend is the Indy 500 which will be a weekend of crazy uncontrollableness so I will definitely post stories after that. It should be a weekend to remember. SUMMER 2010 will be one to remember for sure! more later! xoxo

so my current obsession is shoes. I found a really cute pair from dsw that I am debating on getting. THe thing is I am going shopping in chicago this weekend so I kind of want to wait and see what I can find there. So I am in a bit of a tiff and can't decide what to do. Wish I could post a picture but it is not letting me!!! ahh what do i do?! I need some advice! The shoes on dsw are brown steve madden platform heels and they have a woven tribal looking patter on the front. very spring/summerey and very very cute! but who knows what I will be able to find in CHicago. there is unlimited options there! Ah who knows. I am horrible at making decisions.

addicted to shopping

so i found the most amazing websites ever! Actually my little invited me to them. But basically they are websites that feature certain designers for 2 days and their clothes and things are up to 75% off! I am in heaven!! New designers come up everyday and things sell out quick, but I have a feeling I will be finding some great deals and spending more money than in the past. The only bad thing is you have to be invited to these websites to access them. But Juicy is featured on one of them today and they have $350 purses for like $160! its amazing. If anyone wants to be invited let me know :) oh and I get discounts if you make purchases!!

struggle

why is it that when you give up something ( for lent ) you crave it ten times more than usual!? I gave up desserts, which I normally don't even eat THAT much but now that I gave it up, its all I think about. anddd I am eating ten times more candy now. This is not good.I don't know what to do! I DON'T want to fail and give in. blahh all i think about to push me through it is SPRING BREAK, SPRING BREAK. it will be well worth it in the end. GIVE ME SOME ENCOURAGING ADVICE!! haha please and thanks ;)

time flys

well another weekend is over and a new week is about to begin. this year is f l y i n g by so fast!! Spring break is like 3 weeks away! This weekend was a good one. I attended the annual BMOC philanthropy event hosted by ZTA. It was a fun time. Lots of hilarious acts, and a few not so good ones, but you'll have that. We were paired with pikes and our BMOC contestant sang "lean on me" in honor of his mom who is a breast cancer survivor. It was great :) Saw my brother last night and just chatted for awhile . He was here for the purdue game. BOILER UP! Our team is looking fierce. blah my body is so sore from my hardcore "lets get that spring break body" workouts. Maybe I should take a day off today and rest? ahh probably not. thats all for now.

ash wednesday

wow, i haven't been a very good blogger! its been weeks! ahh well im gonna write on here everyday from now on..

anyway. today is ash wednesday and im being a good little girl and going to church with my sisters! I know my dad will be so proud. I just decided that I am giving up desserts for lent! they are my weakness, but it will benefit me in a positive way :) I also am going to blog everyday! anddd I am going to try to do something good for this community at some point in the 40 days. Maybe volunteer at a soup kitchen or something! I need some community service in my life.

grammys!

the grammys were amazing this year! Lady Gaga was weird as usual, but such an amazing performance with Elton John. Pinks performance blew everyone away and do I even have to say how amazing lil wayne, drake and eminem were! especially with travis barker! awesome performance. I could watch lil wayne sing for hours. love love love him! Can't forget about Beyonce and her Sasha Fierce self. So GOOD! butttttt I DO NOT think that Taylor Swift deserved album of the year. Yes I love her songs, but Lady Gaga had 5 number one hits off of her album. She deserved it way more!! Im just so over Taylor winning everything she is ever nominated for. Where is Kanye when you need him? hahah jk jk :) but did you see that Snookie was there? man I need to get on just one reality tv show and then I can go to things like the grammys. ipad anyone??

So this new iPAD is probably the best invention ever made. I have a mac laptop and i absolutely love it, but this ipad is a computer, ipod, book, tv all in one! it has 140,000 apps you can buy. You can read books on it, send emails, put your photos on, play games and watch movies. and its only $500! I'm very shocked that it is so cheap. I expected like the same price as a laptop like around $1000 or something. I better save up this summer because I want an IPAD!!!

home sweet home :)

so I came back home yesterday for the weekend. I had a hair appointment and my hair is now blonde again :). once i figure out this phone thing I will post a picture. but jenny came home too and we went out to eat at Red Lobster with our moms, then we went to see When In Rome. It was a pretty good movie. Josh Duhamel is dead sexy thats forsure ;). Fergie is one lucky girl. Today I had to pick up my dog at the vet. She had surgery yesterday and now has a bunch of sutures and a drain in her leg. poor girl. sad day =/ Hope to get some pictures up sooon!! xoxo

so i just talked my mom into doing some online shopping for spring break when i come home this weekend! nothing like spending some quality time with family while spending some of there hard earned $$ :). I LOVE forever 21. I could spend hours upon hours in the store and on the website. There new resort & boutique lines are soo cute! I need to revamp my style a little bit and branch it. We will see what happens this weekend. I will post some pictures of my purchases this weekend (:

i can't get any work done because pi phi internet BLOWS! it never works. EVER. I just had to do 798347 assesments of my self and it took an hour too long because the internet kept going in and out. hopefully they get this fixed. Its such a hassle having to go to a computer lab and print everything off. just one more thing to add to the shit list of pi beta phi. we need a new house. veryyy badly. thank god im going home this weekend so I can get things done. ta ta for now :)

new blogger

So i was sitting in my CDFS 255 class today and we watched a youtube video of a bunch of statistics. It was telling us about how long it took 100 million people to get facebook and how the social networks are taking over the world. It made me really want to start a blog. I love twitter and facebook so I figured I would express my thoughts and feelings through this thing. It took me forever to think of my url, and i still don't like that much =/. Anyway hopefully I will figure out how to upload pictures and such every couple of days to keep this interesting. This will also help me get through my power hour classes haha! I am obsessed with this already.
